Keiichi Maemura’s journey from Kagoshima, Japan, to South Florida began far from the kitchen. After pursuing baseball, working in ramen shops, and spending a decade in investment banking, he left corporate life to follow a deeper calling: sharing authentic Japanese ramen. He opened his first shop in Kagoshima before bringing his recipes, techniques, and handcrafted volcanic-sand bowls to America.
