Chifa Du Kang is the Tou family’s story, told through Peruvian-Chinese food. Papá Tou and Juanita moved from China to Peru, opened their first chifa in Lima in 1989, and later brought Du Kang to Miami. Their children Anson and Vikki are part of the business today. Bring a group and order family-style: tallarín saltado, pollo chi jau kay, sopa especial Du Kang, and aeropuerto. If you get the aeropuerto, ask for the lime sauce too. It’s the kind of meal that makes more sense with a full table.
