Awash is a family-owned Ethiopian restaurant in Miami Gardens and a good place to bring someone who hasn’t tried Ethiopian food before. Order the Taste of Awash to share and get a little of everything with injera, the soft, tangy flatbread used to scoop up the food. I also love the doro wot, a slow-cooked chicken stew with berbere spice, and the kitfo, seasoned minced beef that you can order raw or lightly cooked.
